When Chelsey contacted me to schedule her family session, I learned that she had a four year old daughter and two year old son — born almost exactly around the same dates as my four year old daughter and two year old son. What a fun coincidence. I know I’ve said this before, but I seriously have the best clients ever! Chelsey and her family were no exception!

Vivian and Lily’s mom contacted me to schedule their family session when she saw that I was offering grad portraits because this was a very special year for her family: her eldest daughter was graduating high school and her youngest daughter was graduating from middle school. Vivian wore the gorgeous dress she had chosen for her prom and we spent the afternoon celebrating this special time for this sweet family!

It’s my second Fall in Victoria and it’s easily become my favourite season for family photos! The sunsets come early which makes it easier for families with younger children to enjoy the golden hour for their session and the sunsets this time of year are out of this world.

I’m so lucky to have met Christine and her beautiful family this Fall when they were all together on Vancouver Island!

Esquimalt Lagoon has quickly become my favourite spot for Fall family photos. With views of the ocean, Fisgard Lighthouse, City of Victoria, snow capped peaks of the Olympic mountains, paired with unreal sunsets, dramatic skies, and a totally different location look on the other side of the Lagoon, Esquimalt Lagoon truly has it all!
