If you haven’t had a family session with me, you may be wondering, “What happens after I book?” In today’s blog post, I’m sharing what you can expect from a family session with me every step of the way.
Getting Ready
It’s very important to me that you know exactly what to expect at your family photo session. Once your session date is all set, I will send you my digital Style Guide Magazine which includes what to wear recommendations and styling tips for displaying your images. I also send you a family session questionnaire to learn more about you and your vision for your session to design a custom family session that is perfect for your family.
During Your Session
If you’re looking for natural, lightly posed, and fun family photography, you’ve come to the right place. My sessions are centred around capturing the love and connection you share as a family. Family snuggles, shared laughs, and having a great time are all encouraged! Yes, even Dads that may be dreading the session!
We’ll get the posed shots to send to grandparents, as well as images of candid laughs, kids chasing each other around the field, and genuine moments of fun. Feeling a little awkward about stepping in front of the camera? Don’t worry, making people comfortable is my specialty. The nerves will be gone within moments.
After Your Session
I know how hard it can be to wait to see and share photos from your session with family and friends. For this reason, I promise the fastest turn around time possible. It’s my goal to send your gallery link to you within four weeks.
Displaying Your Images
The best part is deciding how you will display and enjoy your beautiful family photos around your home. You can choose from a variety of heirloom quality print products and I am by your side to offer advice whenever you have questions. You can even send me photos of the walls where you would like to have your images displayed and I will design gallery wall ideas for your home.
Product orders are ready within 6-8 weeks of purchase.
