I’ve photographed hundreds of families since Erin Clayton Photography first became a business and I would be fibbing if I told you that family portraits are stress-free. But with the right amount of planning and prep, your session will be a fun, joy-filled session!

Today I want to share my top tips for an enjoyable family photo session – I promise it’s possible!

I had such an amazing time meeting up with Phil and his adorable kids while they were visiting Vancouver Island over the Thanksgiving weekend!

It was a feeling like no other when I learned that the two images I had entered into the Top 100 NAPCP Gallery Event and Print Competition were selected! The 100 chosen images will be on live display at the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) headquarters in Atlanta, GA on August 23.
